"Our Will, Our Victory Conference" was held in Hatay and Osmaniye within the scope of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.

The program, held at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University (HMKÜ) Rectorate Conference Hall, started with a July 15 themed photo exhibition.

Governor Mustafa Masatlı said at the conference that July 15 was the day when the nation claimed its own will.

Emphasizing that the nation decides the future of the country, Masatlı said, "Do not forget that the stronger the memory of a nation, the stronger its future will be. Societies that forget their history cannot realize the dangers they face in time. Therefore, not forgetting July 15 and not letting it be forgotten is a historical responsibility we bear towards our martyrs, veterans, our nation and our future." he said.

Metropolitan Mayor Mehmet Öntürk also reminded that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan resisted the coup plotters with his nation.

Pointing out that the spirit of unity and solidarity displayed by the nation has brought the country to very important places today, Öntürk said that they will never forget July 15.

Masatlı later attended the Hatm-i Şerif program at HMKÜ Hacı Mehmet Alkan Mosque.

A July 15-themed art exhibition was opened in a shopping mall in Osmaniye as part of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day events.

Governor Mehmet Fatih Serdengeçti and other protocol members visited the exhibition prepared by the students of Abdurrahman Keskiner Fine Arts High School and received information about the activities from teachers and students.

Later, Serdengeçti and his entourage attended the "Our Will, Our Victory Conference" held at Osmaniye Korkut Ata University 15 July Martyrs Amphitheater.

Osmaniye Korkut Ata University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Head of History Department Assoc. Dr. Muhammed Fazıl Himmetoğlu noted at the conference that the people tore off the dark shroud that was intended to be placed on Türkiye on July 15 with their claws.
