The UK and European prices of Hyundai's highly anticipated electric model IONIQ 3 have been announced. The entry-level Advance package with 42 kWh battery is very competitively priced at around £22,245 ($29,800). Versions with 61 kWh batteries were listed as £ 25,745, £ 27,445, £ 29,945 and £ 31,945 for Advance, Premium, Ultimate and N-Line Evo respectively.
Hyundai will produce IONIQ 3 at its Izmit Alikahya facility in Türkiye. Thanks to domestic production, the vehicle will be exempt from import taxes and high logistics costs. This makes it possible for the price in Türkiye to be between 1,450,000 TL and 1,650,000 TL, ensuring that it is in the lowest Special Consumption Tax bracket.
The vehicle offers a range of 344 km with a 42.2 kWh battery and 496 km with a 61 kWh battery. Thanks to the 400V architecture, DC fast charging can be reached from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes. While the price range of Hyundai Inster, the biggest rival of IONIQ 3 in Türkiye, is 1,450,000 TL - 1,740,000 TL, the pricing of IONIQ 3, which will be in the higher segment, is a matter of curiosity.
