Adıyaman Internet Journalists Association (IGC) President Mehmet Cihan Akbilek reacted with harsh words to FETO's treacherous coup attempt in his message published on the anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.

Akbilek emphasized that July 15 was not only a coup attempt, but also a vile invasion attempt directed at the independence, state and flag of the Turkish nation.

Stating that the nation protected not only democracy but also its homeland and future by lying in front of the tanks on the night of July 15, Akbilek said, "The only thing they could not calculate that night was that they could not measure the faith, courage and love of the country of this nation. By going to the squares at the expense of their lives, our nation taught the traitors a lesson they will never forget throughout history."

Expressing that FETO has insidiously infiltrated the veins of the state for years, Akbilek said, "We neither forgive nor forget the traitors who point guns at their own nation and are so crazy as to bomb the Parliament. We will never give an opportunity to those who try to cover up this betrayal, erase the memories and make July 15 ordinary. Because forgetting July 15 means giving courage to the same dark focuses again.
