Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian criticized the country's state television for using divisive rhetoric.
At a meeting he attended in the capital Tehran, Pezeshkian made an evaluation about state television, which is a frequent subject of controversy in the country with its broadcasts.
Stating that the discourses used on state television indicate separation, Pezeşkiyan said, "The state television's discourse of 'soldiers on one side, the government on the other' means division, and this discourse is also Israel's discourse. State television has no right to say this." he said.
Stating that he does not see himself as separate from the Iranian Armed Forces, Pezeşkiyan stated that he is proud of the Iranian Army.
