It was claimed in the news that there were security camera recordings and that the defendant confessed to throwing molotov cocktails at the district governor's building and the police station. It was also claimed that the person in question encouraged those around him to attack the police station.
It was reported that the death sentence given to the defendant was approved by the Supreme Judiciary of Iran, and his appeal was rejected.
