Following US President Donald Trump's statement regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian Revolutionary Guards Army Spokesperson Hossein Muhibbi said, "We will continue the control and management of the Strait of Hormuz with strength and determination." he said.
Muhibbi made statements regarding the Strait of Hormuz from his account on the US-based X social media platform.
Stating that the USA has endangered global oil and natural gas security by intervening in the Strait of Hormuz, Muhibbi said, "We will continue the control and management of the Strait of Hormuz with strength and determination. We will force foreign powers and their allies to surrender before the Iranian people." he said.
Making statements about Iran in the program he attended on Fox News channel, Trump said, "We will keep the Strait of (Hormuz) in our hands. We will probably manage it. We will be the guardians of the Bosphorus." he said.
Colonel Ibrahim Zulfikari, Spokesperson of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the unit of the Iranian Armed Forces that conducts the war, said, regarding Trump's statements, "We did not and will not allow the USA to intervene in the Strait of Hormuz." he said.
