In Şırnak, 939.26 grams of methamphetamine in 151 pieces were seized from the stomach of two Iranian national suspects.
Şırnak Provincial Police Department narcotics teams took action against two Iranian national suspects who were determined to have entered Türkiye as a result of intelligence and technical activities. The suspects were taken into custody during the operation. As part of the health checks and judicial proceedings, the drug capsules carried by the suspects in their stomachs were removed one by one. During the examination, it was determined that the suspects had a total of 939.26 grams of methamphetamine in 151 pieces in their stomachs. The seized drugs were confiscated. The suspects were referred to the judicial authorities after their procedures at the police station.
In the statement made by Şırnak Provincial Police Department, it was stated that the fight against drug traffickers continues uninterruptedly.
