21 irregular immigrants were rescued from a rubber boat that drifted due to engine failure off the coast of Izmir's Karaburun district.
According to the statement on the website of the Coast Guard Command, a Coast Guard boat was assigned to the region upon information that a rubber boat with irregular immigrants was drifting off the coast of Karaburun district due to engine failure and a request for help was made.
21 irregular immigrants on the boat were rescued by the teams.
Irregular immigrants were sent to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management after their procedures.
