The car driver, who was detained in connection with the traffic accident in which the motorcycle driver died in Izmir's Menderes district, was sent to prison.
The motorcycle with plate number 35 BBE 237, driven by Özcan Şahin (26), was caught by İ.Ç., who made a U-turn in Özdere Cumhuriyet District yesterday. It collided with the car with plate number 34 SB 3549, driven by (46).
In the security camera footage of the accident, it was seen that the car waiting on the right side of the road collided with the motorcycle while making a U-turn and the motorcycle driver was thrown onto the road.
The driver of the car, İ.Ç., who was detained after the accident and sent to the courthouse after completing his procedures at the gendarmerie, was sent to prison by the judgeship.
Motorcycle driver Özcan Şahin died in Seferihisar State Hospital, where he was taken after being seriously injured in the accident.
