Flames broke out in the forest near İnönü District of Bornova district at around 13:00. Upon the notice of the neighborhood residents, 2 planes, 4 helicopters, 16 water tankers, 6 water supply units and 1 dozer belonging to the Izmir Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region. Teams are fighting the flames from the air and land.
