In the drug operation carried out by police teams in Bayraklı district of Izmir, 196 thousand 560 drug-quality pills and 1 kilo 20 grams of bonzai raw materials were seized. 3 suspects detained regarding the incident were sent to prison.
Continuing their activities under the coordination of the Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the teams of the Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate received information that a large amount of drugs were stored at an address in Bayraklı district and that distribution would be made to street dealers, called 'bag dealers'. Taking action upon intelligence, the teams carried out an operation at the specified address. In searches made at the address; 196 thousand 560 narcotic pills and 1 kilo 20 grams of synthetic bonsai raw materials were seized. Within the scope of the operation, K.F., O.S. and Ö.D. 3 suspects named were taken into custody. The suspects, who were sent to the courthouse after completing their procedures at the police station, were arrested by the court and sent to prison. - IZMIR
