The "Clean Iznik" movement, started by 12-year-olds Bahadır Ünal and Çınar Girgin in the İznik district of Bursa, is growing day by day. Bahadır, Çınar and their friends, who cleaned the environment by traveling around the district with their bicycles, decorated the martyrs' cemetery with roses, which they cleaned before July 15, Democracy and National Unity Day.
Bahadır Ünal and Çınar Girgin, 12 years old and living in the İznik district of Bursa, are leading an exemplary awareness movement with the 'Clean İznik' account they opened on social media. Children and their friends travel around the district on their bicycles and clean the environment. Bahadır Ünal, Çınar Girgin and their friends, who carried out another meaningful activity before July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, cleaned the Iznik Martyrs' Cemetery. The children carefully cleaned and washed the graves, then left roses on the graves of the martyrs. This meaningful behavior of the children, who prayed for all the martyrs after the cleaning activity, was greatly appreciated by the citizens.
Çınar Girgin said, "I am Çınar Girgin, I am 12 years old. We founded Temiz İznik with my friend Bahadır Ünal. While walking around the streets with my friend, we collected the garbage on the ground. Later, our other friends joined us. Today, on the occasion of July 15, we cleaned our martyrs' cemetery and brought roses."
