Edirne Municipality Police Department teams carried out price tag inspections in businesses operating around Kapıkule Border Gate.
According to the statement made by the municipality, the price tags in the businesses, the visibility of the price lists and the compliance of the practices with the legislation were checked within the scope of the Price Label Regulation during the inspections.
In the statement, it was stated that the inspections were carried out to protect the rights of expatriate citizens and other consumers who came to the city especially during the summer period, to prevent unfair price practices and to provide a safe shopping environment.
