Citizens who came together in Trabzon, July 15 Martyrs and Hürriyet Park, watched President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's speech at the "15 July in its 10th Anniversary: The Will is Ours, the Victory is Ours" program in the Capital National Garden on a giant screen.
Following a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, the Holy Quran was recitation and Provincial Mufti İsmail Çiçek prayed.
The flag carried by the athletes participating in the relay race was delivered to Governor Tahir Şahin.
In his speech, Governor Şahin said that July 15 was the victory of the nation, national will and those who devoted themselves to democracy.
Şahin stated that July 15 is the name of the victory of right over falsehood and justice over oppression and said, "This nation, with its young and old, has once again shown the whole world that Türkiye is impassable." he said.
In the program where Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç also gave a speech, the "Heroes Choir" of the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services took the stage.

In his speech, Governor Mustafa Koç emphasized that he taught the whole world an unforgettable lesson by protecting the will of the nation on the night of July 15.
Emphasizing that this year's main message, "The Will is Ours, the Victory is Ours", expresses the unshakable determination and historical stance of the nation in the most concise way, Koç said, "This promise is not only the expression of July 15, but also the common belief of our beloved nation, who is walking towards the future in unity and solidarity, just like yesterday." he said.
In the program where awards were given to students who ranked in various competitions, a documentary about July 15 martyr İsmail Kefal was screened.

The participants gathered in Atapark Square and walked to the National Will Square accompanied by the approximately 30-meter-long Turkish flag.

Speaking after the recitation of the Holy Quran, Governor Turan Ergün said that July 15 was a historical turning point where the will of the nation and commitment to democracy were revealed in the strongest way.
Governor Ergün stated that the coup attempt did not only target the constitutional order, but also was an invasion attempt aimed at destroying the unity and solidarity of the nation.
