(ANKARA) - General Directorate of Meteorology reported that local and thunderstorms are expected in the Black Sea coasts and the Taurus part of the Mediterranean, and strong winds are expected in the southwest of Marmara and the Northern and coastal Aegean.
According to the latest evaluations of the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the northern parts of the country and the Mediterranean Region will be under the influence of partly cloudy and sometimes very cloudy weather.
Local showers and thunderstorms are expected in the Taurus region of the Mediterranean, the Black Sea coast and around Tokat, Artvin, Erzurum, Kars and Ardahan.
Air temperatures will generally remain around seasonal norms, and will sometimes exceed seasonal norms in the southern and eastern parts.
The wind is mainly from the north throughout the country, and in the southeastern parts it is light from the south, occasionally moderate; It is expected to blow strongly from the north in the afternoon in the southwest of Marmara and the Northern and Coastal Aegean.
