The trial of Maşallah Tan (20) and Mücahit Sertkaya (20), who killed Hamdullah Yaman (36) by stabbing him in the throat with an argument in BURSA, has started. Making his defense at the hearing, Tan said, "My aim was not to kill. The knife fell out of my hand during the fight. I picked up the knife and swung it in panic. I did not calculate that it would reach the fatal area." The court decided to continue the detention of Maşallah Tan and to arrest Sertkaya, who was under house arrest, and postponed the hearing.

The incident took place on March 22 at around 17:00 in Karapınar District of Yıldırım district. An argument broke out for an unknown reason between Maşallah Tan and Mücahit Sertkaya, who were living in Karapınar Park, and Hamdullah Yaman, who was passing by on his motorcycle at the time. In the argument that escalated in a short time, Tan stabbed Yaman in the throat. While Hamdullah Yaman collapsed to the ground covered in blood, the people around him rushed to his aid and reported the situation to the 112 Call Center. Upon notice, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Yaman was given first aid by medical teams and was taken to Kestel State Hospital. Yaman, who was taken into treatment, could not be saved despite the intervention of doctors.

Police teams launched an operation to capture Maşallah Tan, who escaped after the incident. While the teams detained Mücahit Sertkaya, Maşallah Tan, who escaped, surrendered to the police teams. Tan, one of the suspects who was referred to the courthouse after being processed at the police station, was sent to prison, and Mücahit Sertkaya was sentenced to house arrest.

The trial of Maşallah Tan and Mücahit Sertkaya, who were asked for life imprisonment for the crime of 'deliberate murder', started at Bursa 4th High Criminal Court. In addition to the defendants, Hamdullah Yaman's wife Mariye Yaman, his older brother Emre Yaman, his father Ahmet Yaman and the party's lawyers attended the hearing.

Detained defendant Maşallah Tan, who was given the right to speak at the hearing, stated that he and Mücahit Sertkaya drank alcohol on the day of the incident and said, "On the day of the incident, I was drinking alcohol with my friend Mücahit and sitting in the park. Meanwhile, I saw my friend K.E. sitting behind the motorcycle driven by Hamdullah and greeted me. He greeted me by saying 'Maşo', which is the shortened version of my name. Meanwhile, Hamdullah, who was driving the motorcycle, said that he was in a hurry and wanted to continue on his way after swearing at me and pushing me. What happened between us "When the discussion turned into a fight, I took out the knife in my hand. When I picked it up and waved it randomly, it hit his throat. I did not intend to kill him. I did not intervene because I did not think he would hit his throat. Then I left the scene and threw the knife to the stream."

Stating that he surrendered to the police teams when he learned that Hamdullah Yaman was dead, Tan said, "The other defendant, Mücahit Sertkaya, was trying to separate us during the fight. Mücahit Sertkaya is not involved in this incident. I regret it very much."

The victim's father and brother reacted to the defendant after the City Security Management System (KGYS) cameras were shown. When the elder brother Emre Yaman, who watched the footage of the incident, turned to the defendant and said "I will kill you", he and his father were removed from the courtroom by the court president.

Mücahit Sertkaya, who said that he was not involved in the incident, claimed that he tried to break up the fight and said, "While I was going ahead, Mashallah was coming from behind. When I looked back, Mashallah was fighting. I tried to separate the parties. I pushed Hamdullah Yaman and K.E. away. Then Hamdullah came again. While I was calming him down, I hit his shoulder with my hand. He hit me. When Mashallah attacked, I pulled Hamdullah to protect him. Mashallah I didn't see that he had a knife in his hand. Meanwhile, we all fell to the ground. Meanwhile, Hamdullah and Mashallah fell into the canal. When I saw that there was blood in my hand, I said to Mashallah, "What did you do?" Then Mashallah walked away and called 112. I intervened to separate him.

'WHEN I CAME TO THE PARK, I SAW MY WIFE IN BLOOD'

The victim's wife, Mariye Yaman, said that she had a complaint against both defendants and stated that she learned that her husband was injured after hearing that he was involved in a fight in the park and said, "When I went to the park, my wife was lying on the ground covered in blood. I saw the defendants for the first time. My wife had no enmity either. I am complaining."

The court panel, which also listened to the defenses of the lawyers of the parties, decided to continue the detention of Maşallah Tan and to arrest Mücahit Sertkaya, who was under house arrest, and postponed the hearing.
