Hospital technician İsmail Çakır (51), who lost his life by falling off the rocks in the mountainous area where he went to collect St. John's wort in KÜTAHYA, was buried.
Tavşanlı Assoc. Dr. İsmail Çakır, who works as a technician at Mustafa Kalemli State Hospital, went to the rocky area in Ovacık village of Tavşanlı district the other day to collect St. John's wort plants. When Çakır did not return home, his relatives reported him missing. The search and rescue team, consisting of gendarmerie and AFAD officers dispatched to the region, found Çakır dead yesterday. A funeral prayer was performed in Ovacık village for İsmail Çakır, who was determined to have lost his life by falling from the rocks. Çakır was later buried in the village cemetery. The investigation launched into the incident continues.
