The woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease, who disappeared at night in the Atakum district of Samsun, was found alive approximately 10 kilometers away from her home as a result of the search activities carried out by the gendarmerie and AFAD teams.
Melahat Kol, an 80-year-old Alzheimer's patient living in Erikli District, a rural neighborhood of Atakum district, disappeared around 03:00 at night. Upon notice, a large-scale search operation was launched in the region by Gendarmerie and AFAD teams. As a result of the meticulous efforts of the teams, Melahat Kol was found alive today around 13:00, approximately 10 kilometers away from her home. The elderly woman, who was found to be in good health, was handed over to her family after being checked. -SAMSUN
