Marketer Ercan Oruç said that purchasing power has increased due to the affordable prices of the products; "I have been a marketer in the neighborhood markets for about 7-8 years. The prices in the market are almost the same compared to last month. Our tomatoes and peppers are on a slight increase, all the rest of the products are affordable. Peppers are 50, tomatoes are 40, cucumbers and eggplants are 100 TL for 3 kilos, and garlic is 100 TL. The prices are very affordable compared to this inflation. The purchasing power of the citizens is very good, since everything we have is affordable, our markets are lively and people can buy everything right now," he said.
Yeter Akça, who shops at the market, said that Türkiye's purchasing power is much stronger and the prices are cheaper compared to the Netherlands; "I live in the Netherlands, the prices there are higher than here. This is a better place to live than the Netherlands. May God give us contentment and give us the opportunity to be thankful. Thank God, we can shop. If we couldn't, so many people wouldn't be here. May God bless everyone's purses, it's very nice," he said.
