Some programs and martyrdom visits were held in Kayseri, Yozgat and Kırşehir on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.

As part of the events in Kayseri, a flag-themed exhibition was opened at Erciyes University (ERÜ).

The exhibition, curated by Faculty of Fine Arts Lecturer Uğur Aydın, included 25 photographs taken in various regions of Türkiye and winning the competition previously held at the university.

Participating in the program, ERÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun and academics visited the exhibition.

After the exhibition, Faculty of Tourism Prof. Dr. At the Cengiz Utaş Conference Hall, Rector of Ankara Social Sciences University Prof. Dr. A conference titled "July 15 from a Sociocultural Perspective and Its Philosophical Reading" was organized by Musa Kazım Arıcan.

Yozgat Governor Mehmet Ali Özkan and the provincial protocol visited the martyrs' cemetery on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.

After the recitation of the Holy Quran, a prayer was made by Provincial Mufti Nihat Kök. Governor Özkan and protocol members later laid carnations on the graves of the martyrs.

Making a statement to journalists after the visit, Governor Özkan said that the Turkish nation stood against the coup attempt against democracy and national will on July 15 and showed the whole world that it would not allow such an attempt again.

After the visit to the martyrs' cemetery, a mawlid was read at Çapanoğlu Grand Mosque.

As part of the events, an exhibition containing July 15 photographs was opened in the Sarraflar Bazaar.

A conference titled "FETO from Treason to Espionage: Anatomy of a Global Terrorist Organization in its 10th Anniversary" was organized by Ahi Evran University (KAEÜ) in Kırşehir.

Speaking at the conference at Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center, Ankara Medipol University Faculty of Political Sciences Lecturer Prof. Dr. Kudret Bülbül emphasized that on July 15, millions of people defended their state and nation as one.

Stating that what happened that night was an attempt and a despicable attempt by a small minority within the army, who used the nation's tanks, cannons and planes against the nation, Bülbül said, "Our nation truly wrote an epic that night. Each of us is proud to the end of being the son of such a nation." he said.

After the conference, KAEÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil gave a plaque to Bülbül.
