"Our Will, Our Victory" panel was held at Karabük University (KBÜ) within the scope of the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.

The panel discussed the resistance put forward by the nation on the night of July 15 in order to protect its independence, future and democracy, the power of the national will, the spirit of unity and solidarity and the process of eliminating the coup attempt.
Governor Oktay Çağatay, whose views were included in the statement, stated that they commemorate the martyrs with mercy and gratitude and the heroic veterans with gratitude, and that it would be an incomplete evaluation to consider July 15 only from its military aspect.
Emphasizing that important social events should be evaluated multidimensionally with their development processes and reasons, Çağatay said:
"If we do not focus on sociological events and do not learn the necessary lessons from what happened, it may be inevitable that we will encounter similar threats again. Therefore, it is our common responsibility to read July 15 correctly in every aspect and pass it on to future generations correctly. May God not let our nation experience such pain again. I wish God's mercy on our martyrs and a healthy and long life to our heroic veterans."
Following the panel, a photography and painting exhibition with the theme "The Will is Ours, Our Victory" was opened in the foyer area.
Governor Çağatay, Rector Kırışık and protocol members visited the exhibition, examined the works and received information about the activities.
Deputy Governor Kerem Süleyman Yüksel, Fatma Arslan Ataman and Nurcan Arslan, sisters of July 15 martyr Metin Arslan, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Senior Colonel İsmail Gökcek, Provincial Police Chief Ahmet Canver, Provincial Special Administration General Secretary Şerafettin Kelleci, vice rectors, institution directors, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations, academics and students attended the program.
