KIRŞEHİR (İHA) – 3 women, who brought their handicraft skills together in Kırşehir, signed an entrepreneurship story by offering for sale the decorative ornaments they prepared from soap base.
In the workshop, which was established by three women, two of whom are retired, by joining forces, decorative products produced from soap base are enriched with felt and different decoration materials and transformed into various designs. Women, who started production before the season, started receiving orders in a short time after 3 months of activity. Manager Semra Dağlı stated that she turned her hobby into business after retirement and said, "I retired and turned my hobbies into business. We offer decorative soap products in different shapes after covering them with felt. The products were in great demand and everyone we worked with was satisfied. As a result of 3 months of activity, we arrived in time for the season and we are very pleased with the demands."
Stating that handmade products are preferred especially as souvenirs, the entrepreneurs said that they aim to develop different designs by increasing their production capacity. While decorative soap products, which attracted attention in the city in a short time, set an example for women entrepreneurship, the producers aim to receive orders from different cities in the future. - KIRŞEHİR
