The Track Cycling Cup and Development Camp, organized by the Turkish Cycling Federation at the Konya Olympic Velodrome, was held with the participation of approximately 200 athletes.

According to the statement made by the Federation, in the camp organized within the scope of the Athlete Development Project, on the one hand, elite athletes made their final preparations before the Turkish Track Cycling Championship, while on the other hand, infrastructure athletes had the opportunity to gain racing experience.

In the organization where approximately 200 athletes competed, 60 athletes competing in the youth and senior categories tested their race tempo before the Turkish Track Cycling Championship to be held between 28 July and 1 August.

In the infrastructure part of the organization, 160 athletes in the 12-17 age category took to the track.

Young athletes who came to Konya from different provinces of Türkiye competed in the second leg of the Scored Track Cycling Cup after the Basic Track Cycling Training Program of the Turkish Cycling Federation.

22 athletes selected in 2026 within the scope of the Athlete Training Center (SEM) program of the Ministry of Youth and Sports attended the three-day development camp held at Konya Olympic Velodrome.

In his evaluation of the organization, Emin Müftüoğlu, President of the Turkish Cycling Federation, noted that they created a strong athlete structure ranging from infrastructure to elite level with the development model implemented in Konya Olympic Velodrome.
