In the fire that started in a woodshed in Antalya's Kumluca district, the garden of an unused house was also burned and damaged. The fire was extinguished before it spread to the house and forest.
The fire started around 16:00 in the woodshed in the garden of an empty house in Saraycık Locality, Gölcük District, Kumluca. Neighborhood residents who noticed the flames reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon notice, the fire brigade and water trucks belonging to Kumluca and Kemer Forest Management Directorate were dispatched to the scene.
As a result of the intervention of the teams, the fire was extinguished before it spread to the houses and the forest area.
Gölcük Neighborhood Headman Mustafa Alkan said that the fire broke out in the woodshed in the garden of an unused house in the neighborhood.
