A customer-grabbing argument between two tradesmen in Aydın's Kuşadası district ended in bloodshed. During the fight, one person was stabbed in the back and the other was stabbed in the waist. While 2 people were arrested after the incident, the District Governorate imposed a 2-day closure penalty on one of the businesses where the fight took place.

The incident took place yesterday at around 16:00 in the Orient Covered Market Area, located on Kıbrıs Street, opposite Kuşadası Ege Ports. Allegedly, a verbal argument that started between two shopkeepers who were trying to attract ship passengers to their workplaces due to grabbing customers quickly escalated into a fight. In the incident involving the crowd, the parties attacked each other and one person was stabbed in the back and the other in the waist. Upon notice, many police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to Kuşadası State Hospital by ambulance and received treatment. It was reported that the injured people were in good condition.

As the tension continued, Kuşadası District Deputy Police Chief Rasim Demirelli came to the scene and met with the parties. Demirelli warned the parties not to escalate the events and to prevent similar incidents from happening again.

In its written statement regarding the incident, Kuşadası District Governorate announced that administrative action was taken after the fight and a business was closed for 2 days.

While 6 suspects who were detained regarding the incident were sent to the courthouse, 2 of the suspects were released after their statements, 2 of them were released on judicial control, while S.Y. (24) and A.K. (22) were sent to prison.
