Under the coordination of Kütahya Provincial Mufti's Office, a meaningful commemoration program prepared by Nizamiye Quran Course students was held on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
In the program, which started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, it was emphasized that the treacherous coup attempt on July 15, 2016 was a historical turning point in which the Turkish nation showed the unity, solidarity and love of the homeland to the whole world. While messages of national unity and solidarity came to the fore throughout the program, the poems prepared by the students and various performances were followed with interest by the participants.
Deputy Governor Selami Korkutata, as well as institution heads, religious officials and guests attended the program. In the speeches made in the program, it was stated that the determined stance shown by the nation on the night of July 15 was an important epic that went down in history in terms of protecting the national will. At the event, the July 15 martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country were commemorated with mercy, gratitude and prayers, while feelings of gratitude were expressed to the veterans for their sacrifices. Attention was drawn to the importance of accurately transferring the spirit of national will and the heroism displayed that night to future generations.
Making evaluations at the end of the program, Kütahya Provincial Mufti Dr. İrfan Açık thanked the Nizamiye Quran Course students, instructors and everyone who contributed to the preparation of the program and stated that such programs make a significant contribution to keeping the awareness of national unity and solidarity alive.
The commemoration program organized within the scope of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day ended after prayers for the martyrs. - KUTAHYA
