The Kuwaiti army announced that 4 soldiers were injured as a result of targeting an element of the Naval Forces in Iran's attacks on the country, and that the soldiers' health condition was stable.
Kuwait Ministry of Defense Spokesperson Colonel Saud Abdulaziz al-Atvan stated in his written statement that 1 ballistic missile, 5 cruise missiles and 33 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were detected in the country's airspace as of the evening hours.
Stating that the missiles and UAVs in question were blocked and neutralized, Atvan noted that some critical and civilian facilities in the country were targeted in the Iranian attacks.
Atvan stated that damage occurred as a result of shrapnel falling in various areas.
Stating that an element of the Kuwaiti Naval Forces was also targeted, Atvan stated that 4 soldiers were injured in the attack.
Stating that the necessary medical attention was given to the injured soldiers, Atvan noted that the soldiers' health conditions were stable.
Atvan added that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces continue their duties to protect the security of the country and the life safety of citizens and those living in the country.
