A 12-year-old boy who went into a stream to cool off in Manisa's Salihli district lost his life.
According to the information received, Abdullah Yıldırım (12) entered the stream in Yılmaz District to cool off with his friends.
After a while, Yıldırım's friends noticed that he had disappeared and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Upon notice, police, fire brigade, health and AFAD teams were dispatched to the region.
During their first inspection of the area, the teams found clothes believed to belong to the child.
As a result of the activities carried out after lowering the water level in the stream with the help of work machines, Yıldırım's lifeless body was found.
The dead body of the child was taken to the morgue of Salihli State Hospital.
