1307 of 118 thousand 72 vehicles checked during 1-week inspections in Mersin were banned from traffic.
According to the governor's statement, various inspections were carried out across the city between 6 and 12 July.
During the inspections, the teams checked 118 thousand 72 vehicles and banned 1307 of them, which were found to be deficient, from traffic.
On the same dates, 778 people who had finalized prison sentences or searches for various crimes were caught.
Within the scope of the "Peace Implementation to Combat Irregular Immigration", the identity checks of 580 people were carried out, and as a result of the checks, 13 people were sent to the Irregular Immigrant Pre-Acceptance and Referral Center.
