Aydın Family and Social Services Provincial Director İlkay Türkoğlu showed a meaningful example of loyalty to the family of Şenol Akar, one of the first martyred teachers, who was martyred in the treacherous terrorist attack while he was working as a teacher in Şırnak. During his previous home visit, Türkoğlu promised the martyr's father, Hilmi Akar, and his mother, Meliha Akar, who stated that they could not always go to the martyrs' cemetery in Karpuzlu district, that he would accompany them during their visit to the grave. Fulfilling his promise, Provincial Director Türkoğlu took the martyr's family from their home and took them to the grave of martyr teacher Şenol Akar in Karpuzlu. While the Holy Quran was read and prayers were made at the grave, all the martyrs who died for the sake of the country, especially Şenol Akar, were commemorated with mercy, gratitude and prayers. After visiting the grave, the delegation met with the family in the park named after martyr teacher Şenol Akar in Karpuzlu. At the meeting, the memories of the martyr were shared, the family was chatted and it was stated that they were always there for them.
In the statement made by Aydın Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, it was emphasized that the families of the martyrs are the most valuable trusts of the nation, and it was stated that it is one of the most important responsibilities to always be with them, to share their pain and to keep the memories of the dear martyrs alive. In the statement, martyr teacher Şenol Akar was commemorated with mercy and gratitude, and wishes for health, peace and patience were expressed to his family. - AYDIN
