TVİN ) - Murgul Cyanide Charity Platform announced that they will convey their objections regarding the Tank Leaching Project to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change at the İDK meeting to be held on July 31.
Murgul Cyanide Charity Platform, which is fighting against the Tank Leaching Project planned to be built in Artvin's Murgul district, announced that an important stage has been reached in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process. The platform stated that the project will be discussed at the Review and Evaluation Commission (IDK) meeting to be held at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change on July 31, 2026, and announced that they will attend the meeting and express their objections to the Ministry once again.
In the written statement made by the platform, it was stated that they would participate in the İDK meeting to be held in Ankara in order to protect Murgul's nature, water resources and living spaces.
In the statement, it was said, "As the Murgul Cyanide No Platform, we will attend the IAC meeting to be held in Ankara in order to defend Murgul's nature, water and living spaces, and express our objections to the Ministry once again."
The platform stated that they will also hold a press release in the area permitted by the Ministry, and called on citizens who want to come to Ankara with their own means and support the process, saying, "We ask our fellow citizens who want to come to Ankara with their own means and support us in this process, to contact us.
