The commemoration program to be held in Niğde for the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day has been announced.
The events, which will be held under the coordination of Niğde Governorship, will continue with various programs until midnight on Wednesday, July 15. Within the scope of the program, the graves of the martyrs will be visited at the Niğde Martyrs' Cemetery on Wednesday, July 15, the Holy Quran will be read and prayers will be said. Afterwards, the 15 July themed photography exhibition will be opened at Ömer Halisdemir Square. Mevlid-i Şerif and Hatm-i Şerif prayers will be recited for the martyrs at the Dışı Mosque. In the evening, a Quran recitation and prayer program will be held at the grave of Martyr Ömer Halisdemir in Çukurkuyu Town. The 15 July National Unity March and Lantern Procession, which will start from Derbent Junction at 20.15, will end at the Governorship Campus Car Park.
Following the march, within the scope of the Democracy Watch Activities to be held in the Governorship Campus Car Park, there will be a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, followed by a recitation of the Holy Quran, a July 15 documentary screening, protocol speeches, a Janissary band show and a concert.
