Two people were injured while responding to a fire that broke out as a result of a kitchen gas cylinder catching fire in an apartment in Nusaybin district of MARDİN.
The fire broke out at around 19.30 in the flat on the 4th floor of the 4-storey apartment building located on Sakarya Street in Selahaddin Eyyubi District. Allegedly, the gas cylinder in the kitchen of İ.Ç.'s house caught fire for an unknown reason. İ.Ç., who intervened in the fire. and F.Ç. were injured in various parts of their bodies while trying to take the flaming tube to the balcony. Upon notice, fire brigade, health and police teams were dispatched to the address. With the intervention of the fire brigade, the fire was taken under control and extinguished before it spread to other rooms and the apartment. After the first intervention of the medical teams, the injured were taken to Nusaybin State Hospital by ambulances. Since there was no burn unit in the hospital, İ.Ç. was transferred to the hospital in Diyarbakır by ambulance for further treatment.
While the house was damaged due to fire, an investigation was launched into the incident.
