One suspect was detained regarding the forest fire in Ortaca district of Muğla.
Forest Management Directorate and District Police Department teams, who inspected the area related to the fire in Kocabel, determined that the starting point of the fire was a workplace that made and sold mats, baskets and polyester type souvenirs on the Muğla-Fethiye highway.
A person working at the workplace was taken into custody regarding the incident.
After the procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse for "causing a fire due to negligence".
The flames that broke out yesterday in the forest area in Gölbaşı District were extinguished with the intervention of the teams. Approximately 3 hectares of forest area was damaged in the fire.
