An elderly couple lost their lives in the accident in which a car and a truck collided in Zonguldak.
According to the information obtained, the accident took place in Ilıksu location of Kozlu district. He wanted to go to the main road with a car with plate number 67 UA 738, driven by Yahya Ergin (81). Meanwhile, the truck with plate number 06 CAM 67, driven by Numan A. (22), collided with the car. The car, which was dragged about 10 meters due to the impact, first hit the retaining wall and then fell into the roadside water channel.
Upon notice, health, fire brigade and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The couple Yahya and Aysel Ergin, who were stuck in the vehicle, were taken out of the place after the intervention of the fire brigade. The couple, Yahya and Aysel Ergin, received first aid and were taken to BEUN Hospital.
The couple could not be saved despite all the efforts of the doctors. The truck driver, Numan A., was detained and taken to the gendarmerie station.
