The car went out of control in Malatya and crashed into a trambus pole. The driver, who was injured in the accident, got out of the ambulance where he was taken for treatment and disappeared.
The accident occurred at around 22:00 at Malatya-Ankara highway Station Junction. Allegedly, the Hyundai brand car with plate 34 BZM 791, which was traveling in the direction of the city center, went out of control and crashed into the trambus pole as a result of its driver losing control of the steering wheel while turning at the intersection. Upon notice, police, health and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. The driver, who was considered injured in the accident, was taken to the ambulance for first aid by medical teams. Meanwhile, the driver got out of the vehicle and fled the scene before the ambulance moved.
While police teams were investigating the traffic incident on-site, they launched an operation to find the driver, whose identity has not yet been determined. - MALATYA
