Special children who attend the summer swimming course organized by the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports in Tekirdağ contribute to their physical development and strengthen their social skills through sports.

25 children with special needs, who receive training in the swimming course opened in the city, receive basic swimming training with coaches.

The activities, which are carried out taking into account their individual needs, aim to help children adapt to water and improve their swimming skills.

Children, who overcame their fear of water in the first days with the support of their coaches, begin to move more easily in the pool with regular training.

Thanks to the training, participants not only improve their physical development, but also have the opportunity to increase their self-confidence and socialize with their friends.

The course, which will continue throughout the summer, aims to help children gain sports habits and have fun.

Anıl Bulut, swimming coach of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, told the AA correspondent that swimming makes very important contributions to special children.

Stating that swimming courses will continue throughout the summer, Bulut said, "We will continue as a summer course until the schools open.
