The accident occurred in the morning hours in Buzlupınar village of the district. The truck, whose driver and license plate were unknown, left the road for an unknown reason and rolled into the ditch. Upon notice, AFAD, Gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the region. During the check by the medical teams, it was determined that Halil Kork, who was in the vehicle, had died. The two injured people were taken to Çayeli İshakoğlu State Hospital by ambulance after first aid. Kork's lifeless body was also taken to the hospital morgue.
