Protocol members in Sakarya published messages on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
In his message, Governor Rahmi Doğan noted that July 15 was an epic in which the nation protected its future.
Emphasizing that the betrayal shattered the unshakable will of the nation, Doğan stated that unity, solidarity, faith and sacrifice will always exist in these lands.
Doğan stated that July 15 is an eternal consciousness that will be passed on to future generations and said:
"This consciousness is the eternal trust of our martyrs who were honored to die for the sake of the flag, the unique sacrifice of our veterans and the common spirit of our nation. On the 10th anniversary of July 15, I remember with mercy and gratitude our magnificent martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the survival of our country, and I express my gratitude to our heroic veterans, my beloved fellow citizens and our great nation.
Happy July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, which will live as a badge of honor in our nation's memory. "May the unity, solidarity and brotherhood of our nation, which cherishes the pride of 'The Will is Ours, the Future is Ours', endure forever, and may our ancient state endure forever."
Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yusuf Alemdar emphasized that the determination shown on July 15 not only prevented a coup attempt, but also showed the whole world his commitment to the independence of the nation.
Stating that they will be in the squares with the same spirit of unity and solidarity on the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, Alemdar invited citizens to the program prepared by Sakarya Governorship and Metropolitan Municipality.
AK Party Provincial Chairman Yunus Tever stated that the treacherous attempt of July 15 was an invasion attempt against the independence of the Republic of Türkiye, the national will and the future of the nation.
Stating that today has turned into an epic of democracy that changed the course of history with the will, courage and determination of the nation, Tever stated that the will of the nation was protected thanks to the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the unique resistance of the nation.
Tever emphasized that Sakarya had an important place in the national struggle in history and noted that the people of Sakarya sided with the national will with the same belief.
Tever commemorated the martyrs with mercy and the veterans with gratitude and gratitude.
MHP Provincial Chairman Oğuz Alkaş stated that the national stance put forward on July 15 was a breaking point that determined the future of Türkiye.
Noting that it is necessary to fight against all treason networks that threaten the existence of the state, especially the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), Alkaş emphasized that the greatest strength is national unity and solidarity as we move towards the goals of the Turkey Century.
