Hülya Işılar, mother of July 15 Martyr Halil Işılar, who attended the commemoration program organized by Ankara Police Department at the provincial police building within the scope of the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, protocol; He was seen laying a wreath in front of the photos of martyrs and loving and kissing his son's photo while taking a group photo. The grieving mother, who could not control her tears, emphasized that she could live without a child, but she could not live without a homeland. Martyr's mother Işılar stated that she loved her grandson, who was born after her son's martyrdom, as "my longing for 10 years".

"Even though I told him 'don't go', he didn't listen to me and found himself here with his friends."

My son was not an understanding, gentlemanly, quarrelsome or noisy person. He always did things for the country. He loved the country very much. Even though I told him not to go, he did not listen to me and found himself here with his friends."

Stating that 3 friends came that night, Işılar said, "Two of his friends returned and my son was martyred. He was the son of a family. When he was 5 years old, he said to his father, 'Dad, I will be a martyr'. So, God wrote martyrdom on his forehead when he was 5 years old."

Mother Işılar, unable to control her tears, continued her words as follows:
