The parents of Special Operations Police Officer Mehmet Karacatilki, who was martyred in the bomb attack on the Special Operations Department in Ankara Gölbaşı during the July 15 treacherous coup attempt of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), living in Osmaniye, have been experiencing the pain of their child for 10 years, as if it were the first day. Nuriye Karacatilki, who did not let go of her son's photo, said, "My little one left me, he left me a thousand brothers." Her words broke their hearts.
In the bomb attack carried out by FETO members on the Special Operations Department Headquarters in Ankara Gölbaşı on the night of July 15, 2016, 32-year-old Special Operations Police Mehmet Karacatilki, father of two children, was martyred along with his 37 comrades-in-arms. It was learned that Mehmet Karacatilki, who was working in Isparta, went to Ankara Gölbaşı Special Operations Department to give training, and after completing the training, he drank the sherbet of martyrdom in the treacherous attack on the day he was leaving his duty. Mother Nuriye (65) and father Hamza (66) Karacatilki, who live in Osmaniye, continue their lives with the memories of their sons. Nuriye Karacatilki, who did not let go of her son's photo for a moment, could not hold back her tears, saying, "My son left once, he left me a thousand brothers."

Mother Nuriye Karacatilki, who said that her son gave her the photo he took in the special operations and said, "Mom, if something happens to me, you'll keep looking at this", said, "Mother, I will go to the special operations. I said why, my dear. The people in the special operations are loyal to each other, they are good. They are people who perform ablutions and prayers. When he said that, I said okay. He passed there himself, took a course in Ankara for 3 months. He also took a photo there and said, 'Mother, take care of this.' He said, 'If anything happens to me, you will take care of it. We went to Düziçi. There are uncles there. He said, 'Mother, if anything happens to me, they will take good care of you, they will give me money.' I said, 'No, they shouldn't give me anything. There were 40 days between that conversation and his martyrdom. He called his father on the evening of the coup. 'This is your holiday, you should go home', he said, 'But once the door is opened, my children come to you immediately, go there.' He said, 'No, mother, I will come there for you.'
