Güldalı Biçinci, who lost her daughter one day before the coup attempt of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) on July 15 and martyred her son Lokman Biçinci in the coup attempt, is proud to be the mother of a martyr.
Lokman Biçinci, who went in front of Akıncı Base to resist the coup on the night of July 15, was martyred as a result of the fire opened by coup soldiers.
Martyr Lokman Biçinci's mother, Güldalı Biçinci, told the AA reporter that they lost their daughter, who lived in Erzurum, due to illness one day before the coup attempt.
Stating that his son Lokman was following the coup attempt on television while they were waiting for his daughter's body to arrive in Ankara, Biçinci said, "Son, there is a funeral, it's a shame, don't turn on the television. He said, 'The motherland is being lost.' He opened it, looked at it. He said, 'Mother, I'm going'. He went out the door and I followed him. He came back, kissed me, hugged my neck. He said, 'I'll be back.' He left and didn't come back yet." he said.
"I am very proud to be the mother of a martyr"
Biçinci stated that when they were called to the hospital in the morning, they learned that his son had been martyred, and said, "The police asked, 'Is this his mother?' he said. I already fainted there. They took me inside, I saw Lokman. He is smiling, his eyes are open. I kissed your face." he said.
Emphasizing that his son went out with the love of his homeland upon the call of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan while waiting for his sister's funeral, Biçinci said, "I will go, the homeland is lost." So, it was written on his forehead. God loved him more than us and took him away, but I'm still proud." he said.
Güldalı Biçinci stated that being the mother of a martyr is both a pride and a great pain, and said, "Martyrdom is not granted to everyone. I am very proud of being the mother of a martyr." he said.
Lokman Biçinci's older brother, Hakan Biçinci, also stated that his brother was a great patriot and that for his brother, the love of homeland and nation came before everything else, which is why he went out on the streets without hesitation on the night of July 15.
Evaluating that it is a source of pride to be the brother of a martyr, Biçinci said, "My Lord does not grant it to everyone. So, it was ours. We are proud of our martyr. May God bless all our martyrs who took to the streets on July 15 and protected their homeland and nation at the expense of their lives." he said.
Biçinci stated that, as relatives of martyrs, they only expect moral support and said:
"Thanks to our state, it has always been with us, especially our President. By calling to the streets that night, he showed that this country is not really abandoned and that traitors will not be allowed here. We also showed as a nation with our martyrs. There is no passage for traitors in this country. Our struggle is getting stronger and stronger over the years. This is what our President said, 'Our struggle will continue until all the FETO members are destroyed wherever there are.' We are also part of that struggle."
