Sevil Işıktekin (38), who was beaten by her boyfriend Niyazi B. (44), with whom she had an argument, in Menteşe district of MUĞLA, died in the hospital where she was taken.
The incident took place yesterday around 23.30 in Menteşe's Orhaniye District. An argument broke out between Niyazi B. and his girlfriend Sevil Işıktekin. As the argument escalated, Niyazi B. hit the young woman. Upon the notice of the surrounding people to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Işıktekin, who was taken to Muğla Training and Research Hospital by the medical team, died at noon today.
Niyazi B., who was detained after the incident, was sent to the courthouse after his procedures at the police.
