The trailer of the truck, which caught fire while traveling on the Lapseki-Biga road in Çanakkale, became unusable.
The incident took place around 22.30 on the Lapseki-Biga road. Allegedly, flames broke out in the trailer of the truck, whose license plate and driver were unknown, while it was driving. The driver, who noticed the fire, jumped out after parking the truck in the safety lane. Later, upon notification made to the 112 Emergency Call Center, the fire brigade, General Directorate of Forestry and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire, which grew in a short time and completely surrounded the trailer of the truck, was extinguished with the intervention of fire brigades. With the rapid intervention of the General Directorate of Forestry and fire brigades, the flames were extinguished before they spread to the forest, and the trailer became unusable.
