The heavy downpour in Sinop's Türkeli district negatively affected daily life.
The General Directorate of Meteorology had warned of heavy rainfall for Türkeli, Ayancık, Erfelek and Boyabat districts of Sinop. Following the warning, the downpour showed its effect in Türkeli. The water accumulated due to the downpour turned the streets and streets into a lake. While drivers had difficulty in moving forward in traffic due to the increasing rainfall in the district, water accumulations occurred in some streets and avenues. Citizens who were unprepared for the rain took shelter in closed areas to protect themselves from the rain.
Meanwhile, after a heavy rain in Güzelkent District, a parked car was damaged as a result of a collapse at the point where the natural gas infrastructure was newly built.
Authorities stated that heavy rainfall may continue and warned citizens to be careful and cautious against sudden floods, floods, lightning, transportation disruptions and adverse weather conditions. - SINOP
