Action was taken against 45 suspects in the smuggling and public order operations carried out in Şırnak.
According to the statement made by the Governorship, the Provincial Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch teams carried out operations in the city center and districts between 6-12 July within the scope of combating smuggling from the financial sources of terrorism.
In this context, during the searches made at some addresses and vehicles, 5 synthetic drug pills, 2 grams of heroin, 2.02 grams of synthetic drugs, 2 bongs and 4 thousand 820 packs of customs smuggled cigarettes were seized, and judicial proceedings were taken against 14 suspects.
In addition, legal action was taken against 31 suspects for various crimes within the scope of the activities carried out by the Habur Kara Border Gate Branch Directorate.
