While customs smuggled material with a market value of approximately 265 thousand liras was seized during public order, narcotics and smuggling operations in Şırnak, legal action was taken against 45 suspects.
Provincial Police Department Public Order Branch, Narcotics Branch and Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch teams carried out operations in the city center, 6 districts and Habur Customs Border Gate between 6-12 July. During the operations, 5 synthetic pharmaceutical substances (4 suboxone, 1 lyrica), 2 grams of heroin, 2.02 grams of methamphetamine, 2 bong apparatus, and 4 thousand 820 smuggled cigarettes were seized. While it was learned that the market value of the materials seized during the operations was 265 thousand Turkish liras, legal action was initiated against 45 suspects who were detained. - ŞIRNAK
