AK Party member Necat Cellek, who served as Mayor of Şirvan in SİİRT since 2004 and died in Istanbul where he was treated, was buried in Tillo district after the ceremony.
Şirvan Mayor Necat Cellek, who had been receiving treatment in Istanbul for a while due to health problems, died on July 12. The first ceremony for Cellek, whose body was brought to Siirt, was held in Şirvan district center, where he served for many years. Siirt Governor Kemal Kızılkaya, AK Party Siirt Provincial Chairman Abdulhakim Gider, district mayors, representatives of public institutions and organizations, Cellek's family, relatives and many people attended the ceremony. After the ceremony in Shirvan, Necat Cellek's body was taken to Tillo district for burial. Cellek was buried in the Sultan Memduh Hazrat Family Cemetery after the funeral prayer and prayers performed here.
