Two workers lost their lives in the accident that occurred as a result of the rope of the construction elevator carrying workers painting the exterior of a building in Şanlıurfa's Siverek district breaking.
The incident took place in Dicle District. According to the information obtained, the rope of the construction elevator, where workers were painting the exterior of a building, broke for an unknown reason. Muhammed Mustafa Toruntay (18) and Muhammed Kızılkan (19), who were in the elevator that fell from the 5th floor to the ground, were seriously injured. Upon the notice of the citizens who saw the accident, the police and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene. Two workers, who were taken to Siverek State Hospital after the first intervention of the medical teams, lost their lives despite all the intervention of the doctors.
While police teams took security measures at the scene, an investigation into the accident was launched. - ŞANLIURFA
