Benchmark and TD Cowen analysts stated in their published notes that Strategy's increase of its dollar reserve to $ 3 billion while keeping its Bitcoin asset constant at 843,775 BTC strengthened the balance sheet and reinforced confidence in the preferred share-based financing model.

The positive assessment comes at a time when MSTR shares are near their long-term bottom. Strategy shares traded at $91.50 on Monday. Analysts do not see the lack of Bitcoin buying as a negative signal and say investors should focus on the company's goal of increasing the amount of Bitcoin per share while supporting its preferred share capital structure.

TD Cowen reiterated his $260 price target for MSTR shares. According to the agency, the latest notification was an early example of management beginning to implement the capital allocation strategy it outlined nearly two weeks ago. Analysts led by Lance Vitanza wrote that the notice filed in the morning provided an early sign that management had begun executing the framework. The bank touted its growing dollar reserves, lack of Bitcoin buying and management's focus on stronger balance sheet discipline rather than maximizing short-term Bitcoin accumulation.

Benchmark came to a similar conclusion and reiterated its much higher $570 price target. Analyst Mark Palmer described Strategy's latest share sale as an effort to strengthen its dividend reserve. Palmer pointed out that the company's dollar reserves increased by approximately 18 percent in a week, reaching 3 billion dollars.

This increase takes the company's time to meet its annual dividend obligation to over 20 months. This could allay investor concerns about Strategy's ability to roll over its preferred securities and convertible debt without resorting to capital markets, according to Palmer.
